Android apps that keep working when everything else quits.

I'm Jeremy Doege. Dreamz Code builds offline-first apps with on-device OCR, payments, mesh networking, real-time audio and private AI, from first idea to a signed Google Play release.

What I build

Software for the real world

Hard features, built properly, and tested so they stay working.

Custom Android apps

Kotlin and Jetpack Compose apps built from an idea to a signed release on Google Play. Phone, tablet and Android Auto.

Offline-first & field apps

Apps that keep working with no signal: local databases, sync, offline maps, and phone-to-phone mesh networking.

Camera, OCR & AI features

Scan VINs, receipts and documents on-device, or pull structured data out of manuals with an LLM. Private, local AI too.

Payments & monetization

Google Play Billing, Pro unlocks, free trials and paid tiers, wired up and tested with real purchases.

Desktop & backend

One Kotlin codebase for Android and Windows, plus Python/FastAPI or Supabase backends when the app needs a server.

Rescue & modernize

An app that's crashing, slow, or stuck on old code? I'll fix it, add tests, and move it to modern Android.

Why Dreamz Code

A one-person studio is a feature

Straight to the developer

You talk to the person writing your code. No account managers, no telephone game.

Tested, not hoped

Around 710 automated tests across my apps. Your app gets tests too, so new features don't break old ones.

Built for real conditions

Offline-first by habit: apps that work in a garage, a fire station, a boat or the backcountry.

You own everything

All source code, signing keys and accounts are handed to you. No lock-in.

How it works

From idea to app store in four steps

  1. TalkA free call to understand the problem, the users and the budget. No pitch deck required.
  2. PlanA written scope with milestones, a timeline and a price, so there are no surprises.
  3. BuildWorking builds on your phone at every milestone, not status reports. Automated tests from day one.
  4. LaunchA signed release, help with the Play Store listing and privacy policy, and a handoff of all the source code.

FAQ

Questions clients ask

How much does an app cost?

It depends on what it does. After a free call, I'll give you a fixed written quote for the scope we agree on, so the number won't move unless the scope does. The contact form has budget ranges to help us start in the right place.

How long does it take?

A focused MVP is usually weeks, not months. A larger app with a backend, payments and many screens takes longer. You'll get a timeline with milestones before any work starts.

Who owns the code?

You do. When the project is paid for, you get all the source code, signing keys and store accounts. No lock-in.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. Happy to sign a reasonable NDA before you share the details of your idea.
