The story

Problem
Search-and-rescue teams, hunting groups and field crews lose coordination the moment the signal drops.

Result
A two-phone field test passed, and it has 80 automated tests.

Features

  • P2P mesh messaging with multi-hop relay and delivery receipts
  • Offline map packs cut on the phone from PMTiles archives
  • Shared pins, checklists, status board and help calls
  • Team passphrase encryption (PBKDF2 + AES-256-GCM)

Built with

  • Kotlin
  • Jetpack Compose
  • Nearby Connections
  • MapLibre
  • Room
  • ProtoBuf
