Flag Hours privacy policy

Effective TBD. Applies to the Flag Hours app published by Dreamz Code (Jeremy Doege).

The short version

Flag Hours keeps your pay records on your phone. No accounts, analytics or ads.

What stays on your device

Your pay plan, repair orders, hours, clock-ins and paycheck records. Your labor-guide API key is encrypted with the Android Keystore.

What leaves your device

• VIN decoding (optional): the VIN is sent to the US government's NHTSA vPIC decoder.
• Labor-time lookup (optional): vehicle and operation details are sent to the Open Labor Project using your own API key.

Camera

Repair order scanning uses on-device text recognition (Google ML Kit). Images are not sent anywhere.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
