BT Receiver privacy policy

Effective October 30, 2026. Applies to the BT Receiver app (package dev.dreamz.btreceiver) published by Dreamz Code (Jeremy Doege).

The short version

BT Receiver has no accounts, analytics, ads or servers, and it asks for no Android permissions. It has no internet access.

Root access

The app uses root to install a small setup script and boot hook on your phone and to change Bluetooth settings. Remove from system deletes both and restores your original settings.

Media information

When a source is connected, the app shows what it's playing (title, artist, album) so you can control it. That information stays on your phone.

Children

BT Receiver is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
