BlueLink Bridge

Android 8.0+ · Coming soon v0.2, launching soon

BlueLink Bridge takes a paired Bluetooth OBD2 dongle and serves it as a Wi-Fi ELM327 on your network, so apps like Torque, Car Scanner and OBD Fusion can connect to it from any phone, tablet or laptop.

The story

Problem
Most OBD2 dongles only speak Bluetooth, but plenty of diagnostic apps and devices (another phone, a tablet, a laptop) expect a Wi-Fi ELM327. Some dongles, like the XTOOL GWBT, aren't even ELM327 at all.
Solution
The app bridges the phone's paired Bluetooth dongle to a TCP server on port 35000 that looks like a normal Wi-Fi ELM327. It can share through a local-only hotspot, over the Wi-Fi you're joined to, or in loopback for apps on the same phone, with a confirmation when you expose the port to a shared network.
Result
v0.2 is a working build with hotspot, LAN and loopback sharing, generic ELM327 pass-through and an XTOOL GWBT emulated mode. First launch is a plain how-to-connect guide.
